Vendor Application & Market  Information

ABOUT

The 2026 Moonlight Market Series will take place Thursday evenings — July 9, 16, 23, 30, and August 6 — from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This highly anticipated event is produced by the Owosso Farmers Market and draws thousands of shoppers throughout the series. Set along the Riverwalk and Curwood Castle Park in Downtown Owosso, the Moonlight Market is a family-friendly, artisan-focused celebration designed to coincide with the City’s summer concert series at the nearby amphitheater.

All interested vendors must submit a separate application for Moonlight Market, even if you are already approved for the Saturday market. Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis, and space is limited. Due to high interest, not all applicants will be approved. Prior participation does not guarantee future acceptance.

Vendor Categories

The OFM team selects a curated mix of vendors for all of our market events. Each vendor category will have a limited amount of accepted businesses to reduce category redundancy and not oversaturate any one product type. Qualifying vendor categories for the Moonlight Market are as follows:

  • Hand Crafted: woodworking, leatherwork, upcycled or handmade furniture, personal care products, soaps, skincare, makeup, home fragrance, jewelry and accessories, glass/stained glass, metalwork, candle making, sculpture, home decor, pet and pet focused products
  • Original Designs & Artwork: hand- lettering/calligraphy items, laser cutting, original designs on products (pins, stickers, signs, home accessories), original artwork (drawing, painting, printmaking and letterpress), fiber art (weaving, natural dyeing, embroidery, sewing/quilting, knitting and crochet, macrame), ceramics and pottery, resin art
  • Apparel: handsewn apparel and accessories, original printed designs (screen printed or hand embellished) on clothing items or vintage clothing, curated collections of antique or vintage clothing
  • Plants & Agricultural: cut flowers, plants, garden accessories, locally grown produce, eggs, poultry, meat, honey, syrup, and other farm products
  • Specialty Service & Products: unique services and entertainment on-site (face painting, balloon art, tarot card, glass blowing, live animals) or value added products (refurbished, antique items)
  • Specialty Food & Beverage: (all items must be sealed and packaged) confectionaries, jams and jellies, chocolates, gourmet bakery items, jerky, cheese, dog treats, spice mixes/dried herbs, beer/wine (with sample permit)
  • Food & Concession: providing prepared or cooked for consumption on site (meals, dessert and beverage items), with or without food trucks/trailers. No more than 30% of your products may be wholesale items. These businesses are under the jurisdiction of the local health department in their county.

We do not accept any MLM products, wholesale only, large retailers, or products made from kits.

APPLICATION REVIEW & DECISION PROCESS

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor for the 2026 Moonlight Market Series! Please remember all of our events receive an abundance of applicants. If you are not selected or are waitlisted for approval at this specific market, we encourage you to still apply for future artisan markets! Many applicants will be added to our waitlist or declined for a variety of reasons that include:

  • The category you applied for is highly competitive.
We work hard to balance how many vendors and types of products we have in each category. Our markets implement quality over quantity for consumer demand. This allows us to consistently produce successful market experiences and make our events optimal for vendors and customers.

  • Your business or products do not meet vendor requirements
This includes product quality, the type of category you applied for, and/or not aligning with our mission

  • Lack of professionalism
We value our time and yours, and will not request additional info if your application is incomplete or vague. We will also not tolerate or engage with disrespectful communication. Past or present encounters that include conflict or unnecessary drama in any form are taken into consideration.
