Vendor Details
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 2022 Moonlight Market! We encourage you to apply sooner than later as vendor space for this event is very limited. Applications deadline is August 1st.
Moonlight Market is an annual one-time evening market event that is accepting applications the following vendor categories: artisan, retailer, grower, producer, food concession, and specialty service (entertainment value). Vendor setup will begin at 2pm, the market event goes from 4pm – 8pm.
All vendors must apply for Moonlight Market, even if you’re already an approved vendor at DOFM. Each vendor category will have a limited amount of approved businesses to reduce vendor redundancy, applications are reviewed in the order they’re received.
A single vendor space for Moonlight Market is 10’x10′. Vendors are required to supply their own table, table covering, and marketing materials. A tent with a minimum of 25lb weights required.
Vendors wanting to re-sell unique items or provide a specialty services are welcomed to apply! Please note: we do not accept any direct sale/wholesale only vendors for this event (a limited amount of previous seasonal vendors with wholesale products will be considered). No more than 50% of any vendor products can be wholesale or brokered items. We strive to provide locally grown and crafted products from small businesses for the Moonlight Market.
The DOFM prohibits vendors from: any sales of raffle tickets, all forms of organized or intended soliciting and/or political activity or displays. Distribution of content-based literature or marketing is not permitted within the event. Smoking at a vendor space or inside within the Moonlight Market event is prohibited.
Please be thorough and accurate when completing the vendor application! The information your provide and product items you list is what we base your acceptance off of. Once approved, there are no refunds under any circumstances.
Moonlight Market Vendor Fees
$75
A single 10’x10′ vendor space for Moonlight Market. Vendors are allowed to purchase up to three (3) spaces for the same business.
$100
A single food vending space in the allocated food truck area of Moonlight Market. Power hookup is limited.
Moonlight Market Vendor Application
Each application is reviewed by our vendor jury team, in the order they are received, to ensure that your products meet the criteria above and to limit vendor redundancy. We have the right to approve or deny any vendor application. If approved, we will contact you and require the following: any necessary permits/insurance information, a signed market agreement with your vendor fee. If your application is declined, you may appeal this decision by emailing DOFM within 24 hours. Vendors shall comply with all rules and regulations set by the State of Michigan and Shiawassee County relating to the products they sell. It is the sole responsibility of each vendor to be familiar with and abide by all state and federal regulations pertaining to the production, harvest, preparation, preservation, labeling, and safety of products sold at the market.
