Vendor Information

Please read the info below before you fill out the Holiday Market vendor application.

The Owosso Holiday Market is our annual artisan winter market happening on November 30 & December 1st from 5pm-8pm. We are accepting applications for the following vendor categories: artisan, retailer, grower/producer, food concession, and specialty service (entertainment value). This market is targeted specifically for Holiday shopping customers, and hosts over 2,000 shoppers every year!

We are accepting a limited amount of vendors to participate each night as space inside the Armory is very limited. Applicants have the option to select one or both nights. Not all vendors who select both nights will be able to attend both if approved. If you do not select a preferred date in addition to selecting both nights, we will select a date for you.

Vendor Applications close November 4th.
The Space

The Holiday Market is located inside The Armory in Downtown Owosso. Vendors will set up on the main and lower level of the Armory (both are accessible by ramp and elevator). Vendor setup will begin at 2pm, the market event is open from 5 pm – 8 pm. Vendors are required to stay for the entire length of the market.

The indoor space for this market is limited to allow for flow of traffic and adequate room for each vendor. As this market provides a large amount of foot traffic, we will be setting up a small amount of vendors each night to allow for more space for customers and vendors. New for 2023: each market night will have a total of 20-22 different vendors setting up inside the Armory, with a limited amount of vendors setting up for both nights. A single vendor space for the Holiday Market is 8 ft wide x 8 ft deep.  Food concession vendors will set up on the cement patio in front of the Armory entrance with up to 18′ of space. Additionally, we are allowing a limited amount of artisan vendors to elect to set up outside around our firepit on the cement patio. Limited power hookup is available indoors and outdoors.

All vendor are required to provide a full booth setup including: at least two 6′ tables, table coverings, business signage, adequate product with legible pricing and. Every vendor is required to bring a sufficient amount of product to last for the entire length of the market.

The Owosso Farmers Market prohibits vendors from: any sales of raffle tickets, all forms of organized or intended soliciting and/or political activity or displays. Distribution of content-based literature or marketing is not permitted within the event.

This market runs a waitlist for vendors and not all applications will be approved. Returning vendors are not guaranteed approval. Please be thorough and accurate when completing the vendor application! The information your provide and each product item you list is what we base your acceptance off of. If approved, you may not bring additional items to sell outside of what you included on your application.

We can only allow a limited amount of approved vendors per each artisan category and/or business type to reduce vendor redundancy. All applications are juried by the Owosso Farmers Market board for approval – which considers various factors, including, but not limited to, the following:
– Vendor’s compatibility with the Market Mission and event type
– Vendor’s ability to comply with the rules, including a thoroughly  completed application
