Since July 1974, the Downtown Owosso Farmers Market has been helping providing the local community with the best of what is in season by providing area farmers, gardeners and artisans makers a place to sell their goods. Our market has proudly grown from a handful of vendors in The Armory parking lot, to now stretching down Exchange street with well over 40 vendors and thousands of shoppers every weekend! The intentional growth along with support from the community has created a one of a kind Farmers Market in Owosso.
We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere, for friends and family, to enjoy when visiting the Farmers Market each Saturday. Whether you are searching for just picked produce, locally grown blooms or a Michigan made gift – we’ve got it! The Farmers Market is a vital part of our economy as we put money back into all locally owned businesses and farms. Money that comes from our own community empowers us to build more and create a lasting infrastructure!
DOFM is a small business, locally owned and operated by local farmers who are truly passionate about the community. Our staff is curated of enthusiastic people who are local vendors, farmers and business owners. We like to think of ourselves as more than just people who work for a farmers market. Each one of us is commited to making a meaningful difference while helping our community grow together.
